Couer d'Alene is one of the best summer spots for the following reasons: the hosts & crew, the water, Derailers, Powder Horn Bay burgers. And this year, synchronized diving.
The pictures don't do it justice. The Park was beautiful, completely amazing geological features. I did not capture the depth of these canyons and rock formations. My little camera was no match for Zion.
Geoducks (pronounced gooey-ducks) are just about the most ridiculous creatures I've ever seen. I was lucky enough to spend a cloudy day in beautiful Puget Sound digging them up with the Leander's and their friends.
